I learnt that HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language. It is the standard markup language used to create and design web pages. HTML provides the structure and content of a webpage by using a set of elements or tags to define the different parts of a document.
I learnt that CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. It is a style sheet language used to define the presentation and appearance of HTML documents. CSS allows web developers to control the layout, colors, fonts, and other visual aspects of a webpage, it allows for extensive control over the appearance of HTML elements, enabling developers to create visually appealing and responsive web designs.
I learnt that JavaScript is a high-level programming language commonly used in web development to add interactivity and dynamic behavior to websites. It is one of the core technologies of the World Wide Web, alongside HTML and CSS.
I learnt that jQuery is a fast, lightweight, and feature-rich JavaScript library that simplifies client-side scripting in web development. It provides a wide range of functions and utilities to perform common tasks with less code compared to plain JavaScript.
I learnt that XML stands for eXtensible Markup Language. It is a markup language similar to HTML, but with more flexible syntax and designed to store and transport data rather than to display it. XML is widely used for representing structured data in a machine-readable format.
I learnt that JSON stands for JavaScript Object Notation. It is a lightweight data interchange format that is easy for humans to read and write and easy for machines to parse and generate. JSON is based on a subset of the JavaScript programming language and is often used for transmitting data between a server and a web application, as well as for storing and exchanging structured data.
I learnt that AJAX stands for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. It is a set of web development techniques used to create asynchronous web applications. With AJAX, web pages can update content dynamically without needing to reload the entire page. This allows for smoother and more responsive user experiences, similar to desktop applications.
I learnt that RWD stands for Responsive Web Design. It is an approach to web design aimed at creating websites that provide an optimal viewing and interaction experience across a wide range of devices and screen sizes, from desktop computers to smartphones and tablets.
