Marina Orekov is a computer scientist. Located in Gaithersburg, MD. Attended Miami University in Oxford Ohio from 2005 to 2009.Currently attends Montgomery College in Rockville, MD. Holds a Python 1 Certificate and persuing a certificate in Front End Development.

GOAL: Get certified in this area! JavaScript is the world's most popular programming language. JavaScript is the programming language of the Web.

jQuery

GOAL: Get certified in this area! jQuery is a lightweight, "write less, do more", JavaScript library. The purpose of jQuery is to make it much easier to use JavaScript on your website. jQuery takes a lot of common tasks that require many lines of JavaScript code to accomplish, and wraps them into methods that you can call with a single line of code.

XML

GOAL: Get certified in this area! Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a markup language that provides rules to define any data. Unlike other programming languages, XML cannot perform computing operations by itself. Instead, any programming language or software can be implemented for structured data management.

JSON

GOAL: Get certified in this area! JSON stands for JavaScript Object Notation JSON is a text format for storing and transporting data JSON is "self-describing" and easy to understand.

AJAX

GOAL: Get certified in this area! AJAX is a developer's dream, because you can: Update a web page without reloading the page Request data from a server - after the page has loaded Receive data from a server - after the page has loaded Send data to a server - in the background

RWD

Goal: Get certified in this area! Responsive web design, or RWD, is a design approach that addresses the range of devices and device sizes, enabling automatic adaption to the screen, whether the content is viewed on a tablet, phone, television, or watch. Responsive web design isn't a separate technology — it is an approach.
