I have began my web development journey in Montgomery college at Rockville Maryland with Professor Carl M. Burnett.

  • Jay is currently working towrads to become a Front-End Developer; works on the “client-side” of web development and aiming to provide a great user experience with a beautiful interfaces. He is very studious, always ready to learn new technologies to implement into his works.
  • Jay is able to build complex and dynamic web pages on a professional-level.
  • Jay is currently a real estate broker and realtor with Ten Thousand Realty; licensed in Maryland, DC and Virginia. He has served 4 years active duty in the Marine Corps and graduated from University of Maryland. He was a realtor with Long and Foster Real Estate and an Associate Broker for Re/Max Universal before he founded Ten Thousand Realty.

  • MILITARY EXPERIENCE

    Quickly rose through the ranks to E-5. As a Non-Commissioned Officer I was responsible for the management of 30 enlisted personnel. I had the capacity to manage capital and balance budgetary constraints for physical improvements and equipment needs of my company ($200K). I was also the scheduling officer for my unit and utilized electronic modalities to accomplish this task. I was also the records custodian and maintained all secret files in accordance with current military standards and regulations. I provided direct supervision, scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and discipline of assigned personnel under my purview. I was also responsible for planning and coordinating assignments to collect, evaluate, develop, and maintain information required for preparing analyses and briefings for Commanding Officers.

  • Operated and maintained a variety of weapons equipment, vehicles and systems.
  • Upheld basic military operations and safety protocols in all performed tasks.
  • Inspected and ensured that all machine guns, rifles, and other assorted combat weaponry were in proper working order and the properly stored.
  • Responsible for performing barracks duties and fire watches in compliance with military standards to ensure the safety and protection of civilians, marines, and all facilities.
  • Responsible for performing security detail and safety patrolling of facilities essential in the prevention and/or detection of enemy activities and/or attacks.

    HTML 

    HTML instructs the browser on how to display text and images in a web page. 

    CSS 

    CSS describes how HTML elements are to be displayed on screen, paper, or in other media.

    JavaScript 

    JavaScript gives web pages interactive elements that engage a user.

    jQuery 

    jQuery takes a lot of common tasks that require many lines of JavaScript code to accomplish, and wraps them into methods that you can call with a single line of code.

    Json 

    It is commonly used for transmitting data in web applications (e.g., sending some data from the server to the client, so it can be displayed on a web page, or vice versa).

    AJAX 

    AJAX is derived from JavaScript’s function to allow for a more interactive experience. it is commonly used in popular web applications like Google Maps, Gmail, Facebook, and Twitter. 

    XML 

    XML supports information exchange between computer systems such as websites, databases, and third-party applications.

     Responsive Web Design (RWD)

    Web pages can be viewed using many different devices: desktops, tablets, and phones. Your web page should look good, and be easy to use, regardless of the device.
